What is Isaac up to?

I am sure that some of you (family especially) have been wondering what Isaac is up to lately- new motor skills that he is developing, words that he might be saying, etc... so I thought I would catch you up to speed. Isaac is officially 17 months old now. It has been a lot of fun watching him blossom and learn new things over these past few months. He seems to pick up something new every day. Like today, Isaac brought over his little lamb figurine and kissed it... then he put the lamb up to my lips so that I could kiss it... he ran into the living room and I could hear him kissing his lamb... and then he ran back to me so that I could give little lamb another kiss. It was so cute! He also points at the sky any time he hears a plane fly by, he points out to the side when he hears the train or a car go by, he roars like a lion, hisses like a snake, puts his hand in front of his nose and pretends to be a elephant, he fake sneezes, he can put all of the shapes into the shape sorter, and he dances with such delight. Here are some more pictures of what he has been doing: He enjoys attaching the clothes pins to baskets and taking them apart to figure out how they work.

Isaac loves to sort anything...

He loves to stack cans, boxes, etc. He stacked these up in our kitchen...no help from mom.

He stands on boxes...

He wears daddy's shoes...those are some BIG shoes to fill, eh?

He colors at his new little table...well, sort of....

He loves to throw...we try to limit this to his soft baseball or football, but we occassionally catch him throwing other things as well, like his cars off the balcony yesterday. Stinker.

He fake laughs... One of my favorite things that Isaac has been doing lately is he jumps in his cot in the morning. He holds onto the railing with both hands and launches his little legs in the air with each bounce. He laughs with delight until we come in to get him.

He is quite the crack up. He is a little social otter that definitely keeps us laughing each day. He just woke up and he has been running down the hall making silly noises...
