Our entire team came to the hospital to visit little Hudson and I, as well as some folks from our home group. It has been fun to have people over to meet the little guy. Here is a pic of the girls on our team that visited, and Stuart and Rachael Van Rij.

So Blessed!
Our church here has been so good to us! Last Sunday Elaine dropped by this beautiful bouquet of flowers in celebration of little Hudson's new life! Unfortunately, I did not take this picture until a week later, so imagine how lovely they were when they were fresh! Our church/home group has also blessed us with visits, meals, baked goods (which I have had way to many of, but they have been ooohhh so good!) and prayers. We would not be coping as well as we are right now without all of the help we have received from our church and from my parents. Yes, my parents are still here and they will be here off and on for one more week. Praise God for friends and family!
Isaac loves to sniff the flowers and he fake sneezes...here is the sniff...

Before They Were Born
The Saturday before Hudson's due date all of the women from our church bible study + a few more, went out to dinner to celebrate the much anticipated arrival of three new babies. Melissa, Nikki, and I are pictured in the bottom photo and all three of us were due a day apart. In the end, Hudson arrived on the 8th and Nikki and Melissa both had baby girls that arrived a week late!!! Thanks Rachael for organizing a night on the town for all of us. We had a great time at the Red Tomatoe.

Sleepy Baby
I'll Be OK Mommy!
I wasn't too sure how Isaac would react to all of the change...having mommy in the hospital for four days, having a new brother, being watched by others for 4 days, etc. Well, as you can see from the photos below, Isaac was just fine. Our teammate Sarah watched Isaac all day during the delivery so that Nana and Bapa coud be with Josh and I at the hospital. The other three days Nana, Bapa and Daddy watched Isaac and they all had a marvelous time. Isaac came to visit me in the hospital and he ran down the hall and greeted me with a hug. He enjoyed the present that his brother brought him and played with it the rest of the time. He is doing better than I could have imagined with all of the change. I am so grateful and thankful. I think that the hardest thing for him has been that I cannot lift him to put him into his cot. Here are some fun pics that my parents took of Isaac while I was in the hospital. He is playing outside in the rain.

More pictures of Mr. Hudson
It has been good to be home and out of the hospital. I was in the Wellington Hospital for 4 days and I have been home for 2 days now. Still feeling pretty exhausted because I did not sleep much in the Hospital. I was in a room with 3 other women and someone's baby was usually crying (not Hudson), so not much sleeping, but I was so happy to be with Hudson that I didn't seem to really care that much. Hudson is a doll and I love him so much! Here are some pictures from the last day here at home. I was so excited to see Isaac that I cried when I saw him. Enjoy!!
Welcome!!! Hudson David Felix
On Friday, February 8th at 9:11 am Hudson David Felix was born in the Wellington Hospital via C-section. We were so EXCITED to finally get to meet the little person that has been hanging out in my belly for 9 months. Hudson is super sweet and the most precious little baby boy. We have LOVED getting to know him and we look forward to updating you all more about him in the future. I am pretty tired from the surgery, but we all seem to be doing as well as can be expected. Thanks to all of you for praying!
Hudson- name is from Hudson Taylor-a famous missionary to China in the late 1800's. He was a great man of FAITH that was known for his deep PRAYER life.
