I snapped this cute picture of Isaac napping with all of his stuffed animals. He loves to line them up and cuddle with them during naps and at night.

 

Josh's Bday!

The boys and I ate cake with Josh to help him celebrate his birthday. The boys of course were excited as they are always keen for cake!

Organic Blueberry Farm

Last year we visited the Organic Blueberry Farm with my mom and we all loved it, so I wanted to make sure that we picked blueberries one more time before our move back to the States. Thankfully the weather cooperated with us and we were able to pick a whole bucket full of berries. We probably could have filled more than one bucket, but the boys couldn't keep the berries from ending up in their mouths. :) Hudson once again displayed his talent for being meticulous as he was very good at picking the big, juicy blueberries. Isaac seemed to be good at finding the best patches of blueberries, so the boys made a great team together. We finished off our day at the farm by sharing a chocolate brownie with yummy ice cream and blueberry sauce on top. It was delicious! Unfortunately, we had to eat our lunches in the back of our Subaru as the bees were attacking us and the boys needed to hide from them. All in all, it was a fun family day.

Animal Fort

Josh constructed another cool fort for the kids to play in during the day. The boys managed to introduce all of their animals to the special fort as well, so they were happy. The boys sure do love their stuffed animals.

Yarrrrrrr!!!!

Isaac was invited to a friends, "Pirate" birthday party, so we dressed him up for the celebration. Daddy made him his own special dagger, eye patch, and treasure pouch so that he would fit the bill of a pirate. He had a great time!

Stories + Luncheon

The boys always enjoy story time with daddy, but the added luncheon made this story time a big win. :)Can you see how much Hudson enjoys "hamming it up" for the camera? If you ask him to smile big he will give you the biggest smile you have ever seen.

 

 

Easter Celebration

We enjoyed a special Easter meal this year with fellow American friends. Dave and Melissa are from California and they moved to New Zealand about a year and a half ago. They work at one of our favorite local churches here named, "The Street". Dinner was delicious, conversation flowed smoothly, and our kiddos had so much fun together! Dave and Mel's eldest son Noah goes to Kindy with Isaac, and their youngest son Corban is close in age to Hudson, so they all played well together. Little Hope is right around one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Coloring Easter Eggs

We enjoyed coloring Easter eggs on this fabulous morning. We used markers this year, but we are looking forward to using an Easter Egg coloring kit next year when we are back in the States.

 

 

 

 

Wellington Cable Car

After 3+ years of living in Wellington I finally took a trip on the Wellington Cable Car! It was on our list of things to do before we move home, so on this sunny, yet windy day, we took a family trip up the Cable Car to the Botanical Gardens. We shot a few family fotos, ate our snacks, and enjoyed the beautiful overlook of the Harbour.
