February 24th- Hudson loves playing with little match-box cars, just as Isaac did. I am aware that not all little boys enjoy cars, but it seems that both of mine love cars (and trains) more than anything! Hudson will easily sit for 15-30 minutes at a time maneuvering his cars on tables, over ramps, or simply running them along the ground around his body as he sits in the ground. I guess it must run in our family seeing as how my dad and brother have a special thing for cars, as does Josh and his dad.

Hudson the Dare-Devil
In late February we brought home this little purple tricycle from the toy library. Both kids loved it! I knew that Isaac would have fun pedaling around our deck on it, but it was Josh's idea to put Hudson on it too! I am so glad that Josh thought to take both boys for a spin, and that he popped wheelie's with them on it as well. It was such a joy watching their hearts beam with delight as daddy pushed them around the deck!
A New Dew
These photo's were taken on February 20th, about two weeks after Hudson's first birthday. You all will well notice that Hudson's hair is a bit shorter. Daddy pulled out the clippers while mommy was running errands. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised when I came home and saw his short new dew. I really liked it, even though I missed his fluffy ducky hair that was growing in the back. The exact reason that Josh was driven to cut his hair...it was driving him nuts. Good job daddy!
Wellington Waterfront Race
On February 15th the girls on our team ran a 10K race along the Wellington Waterfront. I had hoped to run in the race with them, but I had been limping all week from a random injury, so I decided to pass. It was fun to greet all of them at the end of the race! There sure were a lot of people racing that day.

How Hudson Learned to Crawl
A week after Hudson's first birthday he started to crawl! Here are a few pictures of Hudson testing the waters...he would push his feet up against his cot or the couch and test out his crawling moves.
Mama's Boy
Hudson recently entered the stage where he really LOVES his mommy! That's cool with me cuz I really love him too!
