Bridal Shower for Kara Royko
Well, last year we thought that we had officially lost Kara after having her on our team for two years. She moved back to the States during the month of November 2009, and started pursuing the route of joining staff with Crusade full time. After a few months of being home, her boyfriend Chris came for a wee visit, and they got engaged! So, Kara moved back to NZ in the beginning of 2010, and she is on our team again this year. She was a true answer to prayer as the woman's side of ministry needed more woman to lead. We threw her a little bridal shower to help her celebrate kiwi style. It was a special day of celebrating. I especially enjoyed Sarah's home made hot chocolate. Yum!

Isaac's Birthday at Grace Kindy
After Isaac's pancake pajama party, all of the kids went to their afternoon kindy session at Grace. What a full day Isaac had celebrating his birthday twice! Pansy made him the number 4out of play dough and all of the kids sang a little birthday song. It was a fun day for our special boy; he especially enjoyed handing out treats to all of his friends before they drove home with their parents. This was also Ezekiel's (Isaac's friend from the Philippines) last day at Grace, so we had to take a picture with him!
Pancake Pajama Party
We celebrated Isaac's birthday in our pajamas this year. :) He loves wearing his pajamas, so we figured a pancake pajama party would definitely fill his love tank on his 4th birthday. The kids loved eating pancakes topped with chocolate chips, strawberries, bananas, etc., playing pin the bacon on the plate, and jumping around in the bouncy castle. I think the party was a hit as Isaac has asked us a few times already if he can have another pajama party for his 5th birthday next year. I am so glad that he had a great day!

Celebrating our 5th Anniversary!
Josh took me to the Boulcott Bistro for our 4th Anniversary. We loved it so much that we had to go back for our 5th Anniversary too! The food was incredible, the service was great, and the warm cozy house that serves as the back drop for the Bistro makes you never want to leave. We had such a wonderful time celebrating, eating, and talking about our first five years of marriage together. What a special way to celebrate during our last few months in NZ.

Onslow Church Camp
Our family really enjoyed our time this past weekend at church camp. Even though it was a bit chilly, we still got out in the boat and went water skiing. I am so thankful that I brought along my wet suit. A high-light for the boys was the "flying fox" at the camp. All of the kiddos spent most of their free time playing over by the "flying fox", and loving every moment of it. All in all, it was a great weekend to spend time together as a church family. We got to know each other better, and I was particularly moved by the folks that were baptized.
