Mastering the Peas

Isaac enjoys picking peas up with his little fingers. The funny part is watching him pick up a pea and then shove his entire hand into his mouth. He makes the "yum" sound even if a pea did not successfully make it into his mouth. Where is that pea?
It's you and me Mr. Pea. There is no where to run. No where to hide.
Yum yum!
Yeah! I did it! Posted by Picasa

Time with Nana and Bapa

My mom and dad (Nana and Bapa) have been visting us in New Zealand for the past two weeks. They have been using Wellington as their home base as they venture out into the North and South Islands to see the sights. We have enjoyed spending time with Nana and Bapa during the long weekends. It will definitely be sad to see them go. I know how much Isaac has enjoyed having extra people around the house to play with...he loves his Nana and Bapa.

Quick note

Today was a good day here. We are so excited that our house is finally put together. We bought a bed for our guest bedroom a few days ago, so there is a place to stay if anyone wants drop a wad of cash and come to visit us in NZ. Isaac loves apple custard...he yummed through his whole meal.

Hobbiton

Josh and I stopped for a token picture of the Hobbiton sign in Matamata just as we were about to head home from our staff conference. Hobbiton is located a few miles just outside of the centre of Matamata. A few years back I actually ran right by Hobbiton, but it would have cost me $50 to see it up close and personal, so I decided to pass. Isaac fared well on our road trip home. Check out his stellar new car seat. It is actually quite plush, which Isaac finds useful during his car nap time. Just a little side note: the car seats here are some of the best around as the car seat regualtions and laws are very strict in NZ. Isaac's new car seat is one of the best on the market right now. It even has a sun shade.

Final Banquet

The last night of our National Staff Conference there was a final banquet for all of the teams across New Zealand. Our whole team got dressed up for the festivities...even Isaac! Isaac looks so big in the picture below. It was fun for me to wear this red poka-dot kiwi dress that my teammates encouraged me to buy. I have had this dress for 4 months now and I have never worn it as it is a little random. Sorry you can't really see it in the picture. Josh and I received the "Faith Award" for taking the largest step of faith in moving overseas with our family and leaving family at home.
