Josh's Birthday
April 27th- This year I suprised Josh for his birthday and took him to a cool jazz bar in the city called, "Sandwiches". Unfortunately, only one of my pictures turned out from the night, which is this one of Josh and I. We had a great time listening to the music and celebrating with our teammates.
A Few Post-Baptism Pics
April 19th- We visiting the Street Church this Sunday morning so that we could be a part of our Lindsay and Nate's Baptism. Here are some fun pics from after the Baptism service....the second picture cracks me up! What in the world is Hudson doing?
Wilton Bush
April 16th- There are so many amazing places to hike and explore near our house in Ngaio. During my mom's last day of her visit we decided to take a little hike in Wilton Bush. We all enjoyed investigating the bush and trails, and peeking at the flowers.
The Blueberry Farm and Bakehouse
April 14th- After our stop at the refreshing river in Lower Hutt we travelled on to Upper Hutt where we visited an organic blueberry farm. What an amazing experience! We all had so much fun picking and eating the blueberries. Nana proved to be the best at finding the juiciest blueberries and Isaac was the most helpful in removing them from the bucket and into his little tummy. We actually filled an entire bucket full of berries, which seems like a relatively simple task, but it did take us about an hour to fill. We couldn't have chosen a better day to pick berries...it was relatively cool for most of the morning and then the sun came out. We made sure to stop at the bakehouse before we left where we all shared a fresh blueberry muffin and (in honor of Bapa) the most delicious warm chocolate brownie with homemade vanilla ice cream and warm blueberry sauce to top it all off!!! It was to die for---incredible. Visiting the Blueberry Farm was a definite high-light for all of us and we will make sure to visit the farm again next year without a doubt.

Exploring with Nana
April 14th- We took a day trip to Upper Hutt one day during my mom's visit. One of our stops along the way was at this beautiful river. The kids loved playing in the rocks and water.
