Thankfully we all slept well during our family va-ca. We stayed at my friend Joelle's house in Christchurch, which was a tremendous blessing. We only had two times during the first day at Joelle's house when Isaac got out of his port-a-cot. His curiosity got the best of him! The first time I caught him sitting in the middle of Joelle's bed making faces at himself in her mirror...no harm done. (I had to try and keep from smiling as it was actually pretty funny to watch him from the doorway) The second time he sifted through Joelle's jewelry. I didn't actually know about it until I went in to get him up from his nap. Something in the room didn't seem right and then Isaac said, "I was looking for an earring". I wasn't quite sure what he was talking about until I saw Joelle's earring bowl on her dresser. I could tell that his little mits had been sifting around in her jewelry bowl as things looked aray. Little stinker. Hudson also found a special doggy that belonged to Joelle's roommate Cusha. He commandeered the fluffy dog all week and slept with him until we bought him his own fluffy lamb as a replacement. Now he sleeps with his lamb every night. So cute!
