Stoked!

I must admit, I am pretty stoked about Hudson's room. When Isaac was born we lived in a little two bedroom apartment above Joan's garage and we were moving overseas in a few months, so Isaac did not have a bedroom. We shifted him from room to room throughout the day...depending on which room was the coolest for the little guy. All of this to say, it was kind of sad for me that I did not get to decorate Isaac's room in preparation for his arrival. Isn't that something that every mom looks forward to? Well, both kids have their own rooms here in NZ and I have thoroughly enjoyed painting, decorating, etc. for each of them. Here are a few pics of Hudson's room so you can see what we have done to wlecome him home.

He has a little buzzy bee mobile above his cot, I painted the letters for his name last week, Josh and I enjoyed putting up the yellow border and pocka-dots (this was a way easier process than putting up Isaac's lame border that kept falling down), and my friend Rachael helped me hem Hudson's green drapes.

Rachael is so thoughtful and artistic!!! She painted these wee pictures for Hudson's wall. They will match the "transportation" theme bedding that I just ordered for Hudson from Target.

I painted this for his room before he was born.
