Funny Comments from Isaac

Isaac makes me laugh nearly every day. My favorite thing right now has been putting him to bed at night. He loves being tucked in and he gets pretty silly and excited. He enjoys flashing these HUGE cheesy grins at me every night just to get me to laugh, which he always manages to do. Every night he asks me to sing, "Jesus loves you" and then he asks me to pray for him. I get a kick out of asking him what he wants me to pray for....sometimes his request is for family, teammates, marbles, etc. Too cute!

Mommy: What does a Caterpillar turn into?
Isaac: A caterpillar turns into a goose

Mommy: Do you know that water is good for your body?
Isaac: Yes
Mommy: Are cookies good for your body?
Isaac: Cookies have a lot of sugar in them

[Next Day- Isaac is trying to finagle a few cookies out of me and he says in a most convincing voice]

Isaac: Cookies are good for my body! (coupled with much enthusiasm and an irresistible grin!)

[Next Day]
Isaac suddenly notices my wedding ring
Isaac: Mommy, what is that?
Mommy: That is my wedding ring. Daddy gave it to me on our wedding day...isn't it pretty?
Mommy: Go look at Daddy's finger and check out the wedding band that mommy gave daddy
(Isaac runs to look at daddy's hand)
Isaac: (After looking at daddy's hand, then at his own hand, he says with an astonished voice) Isaac has no diamonds !!
