For my kiwi friends that might be reading this blog....a little American history lesson.
On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain. Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings. As you can see by the pictures, our Fourth of July Celebration this year was one heck of a BBQ. It was fun to celebrate the 4th this year with so many people. Isaac had a ball!

Isaac is still crawling, but man is he FAST!!!

Isaac's first encounter with water melon.
What a mess!

Isaac's little friends from day care- Cade and Isaiah.

My friend Tammy is seated on the right in this picture. We became fast friends, which is so fun as Tammy is moving to Christchurch, New Zealand this year with her whole family (she has 4 kids and is married to Kevin). I am so thankful that the Lord has provided another mommy friend for me in NZ.

Anna is from Columbia and she just married our friend Joel. Another sweet blessing from the Lord.

Anna's husband Joel is seated in the middle of this photo. Joel Trained Josh this summer, which was fun as they were both roommates in Spain one summer.
